Full-Time Videographer

About the Role

At The Project Stories, we live and breathe storytelling. Our lens isn't just for capturing moments—it's for translating purpose, energy, and emotion into visuals that move people. Now, we're looking for a passionate Videographer to join our team full-time in Louisville.

Responsibilities:

• Film interviews, events, brand stories, social campaigns, and documentaries
• Work closely with directors, editors, and clients to understand the creative vision
• Manage camera gear, lighting setups, and audio to ensure top-quality production
• Capture both A-roll and stunning B-roll that enhances the narrative
• Stay sharp on storytelling trends, gear advancements, and visual language

Requirements:

• Solid portfolio or reel that shows your camera work, framing, and visual storytelling
• Knowledge of how to operate cameras (Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, or equivalent) confidently
• Understanding of lighting, audio, and on-set flow
• Clear communication and ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to adapt fast, solve problems on the go, and think creatively on set
• Based in Louisville and available for full-time, in-person shoots

Bonus Skills:

• Own or are familiar with pro gear (gimbals, drones, lights, etc.)
• Can shoot across multiple formats (horizontal, vertical, cinematic, social)
• Experience directing on set or setting the scene creatively
• Comfortable occasionally helping with light editing or media management
